What types of problems/disorders do you treat? How much will treatment cost? Addiction rehabilitation is a highly personal experience, and the costs associated with treatment depend upon a number of issues, including (but not necessarily limited to) the specific nature of your problem being treated, the amount of time you will need to remain in treatment, and the presence of any co-occurring disorders. Our admissions advisors will be happy to work with you to develop an accurate picture of what your treatment will cost. Are your staff members licensed? In addition to being experienced, talented and dedicated, our treatment professionals also hold a variety of qualifications and licenses. For information about individual staff members, please contact us directly. We look forward to answering any and all questions you have about our personnel. Is your program accredited? Yes. All White Deer Run Treatment Facilities are fully licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and nationally accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Does your program treat dual diagnosis patients? Yes. We are proud to provide highly effective residential dual diagnosis treatment at both our White Deer Run Allenwood and Cove Forge Williamsburg locations. Do you provide detox services? Yes, we do. Inpatient non-hospital detoxification services are available at five locations: Allenwood, Lancaster, Lebanon, Williamsburg and York. Our inpatient non-hospital detox programs allow you the time needed to devote to reducing withdrawal symptoms. Our detoxification staff is made up of seasoned professionals including (but not limited to) physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and physician’s assistance – all of whom are trained and experienced in the complexity of the substance withdrawal process. Does White Deer Run support AA/NA and similar 12-Step programs? Yes. The 12-Step Model is an important component of our comprehensive chemical dependency treatment programming, and we encourage all clients to participate in AA/NA meetings both during their treatment experience and as an essential part of their lifelong aftercare plan. How long will I need to be in treatment? Drug rehab treatment can vary from a few days to many months. Research shows that the longer a person remains in treatment, the greater the likelihood that long-term sobriety will result. As with most aspects of treatment, determining ideal length of stay involves an analysis of a number of personal factors. At White Deer Run, we work with each client to determine the length of stay (and transition services) that will give them the best likelihood of achieving long-term sobriety. Will I be required (or permitted) to take medication during treatment? All medication determinations are made on an individual basis, and always involve the informed consent of the client. While you are in residence at White Deer Run, every decision regarding medication will be made by you and your healthcare provider. What types of therapies and programs does White Deer Run use? Our highly structured program include group therapy, individual counseling, specialty groups, lectures, medication management, introduction to the 12-steps, AA/NA programs and a family program. What am I not allowed to bring with me? Clients are prohibited from bringing the following items into our facilities:
Will my family be involved in my treatment? We certainly want them to be! Addiction impacts the entire family – and participating in our family support services (weekend family programs and Outpatient Family Therapy) helps loved ones to understand the recovery process, learn how addiction impacts family relationships and develop the skills and strategies to support the client’s sustained recovery.
