Charles Dixon, LSW, CADC
Charles been working in the drug and alcohol field for the last 10 years. He is a licensed social worker and a licensed drug and alcohol counselor. He utilizes a systems approach in working with the substance abuse population while involving families along with the treatment experience. Charles areas of expertise involve addiction processes, anxiety, family matters, self-esteem building, motivational interviewing, codependency, relapse prevention skills, and the impact of family systems on addiction. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). He continues to investigate current best practices for the substance abuse population while ensuring that staff members utilize those practices. Charles remains flexible in creating therapeutic interventions in meeting the needs of the patient or community.
