As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at White Deer Run Treatment Network to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, there are certain restrictions in place regarding on-site visitation at White Deer Run Treatment Network.

  • These restrictions have been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Options for telehealth visitation are continuously evaluated so that our patients can remain connected to their loved ones.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

  • All staff receives ongoing infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance is provided.

  • Temperature and symptom screening protocols are in place for all patients and staff.
  • Social distancing strategies have been implemented to ensure that patients and staff maintain proper distance from one another at all times.

Residential Treatment

If you or your loved one can benefit from a comprehensive residential treatment experience, White Deer Run offers five different options:

Allenwood – On 150 wooded acres, our 264-bed Allenwood center offers detoxification and gender-specific residential services for adult men and women. The Allenwood center’s mission is to provide comprehensive care, ensure personalized treatment, and promote professional excellence.

Blue Mountain – Located in the beautiful Lehigh Valley, our 20-bed Blue Mountain treatment center provides effective and affordable residential care to adult men and women, along with a vibrant continuing care program that promotes long-term success.

Lancaster – Our Lancaster treatment center is designed for adult men who can benefit from medically monitored detox and/or short-term residential care for addiction and certain co-occurring conditions. At Lancaster, adult men can receive focused care in an environment that has been specifically designed to address the unique ways that they have been impacted by substance abuse.

Lebanon – On a pastoral campus in historic Lebanon, Pennsylvania, our 40-bed center is a place of hope and healing for adult men and women. Services include detox and residential care, with an emphasis on clinical excellence, compassion, and respect.

Lehigh – With 31 treatment beds, including seven dedicated to detox patients, our Lehigh center offers an intimate and highly personalized treatment experience for adult men and women. The professionals who staff our Lehigh center approach treatment with a sensitivity to the needs of our patients and their family members, and we emphasize active engagement and beneficial cooperation among all who can support our patients’ continued recovery.

York – Our 24-bed center in beautiful York, Pennsylvania, offers detox, residential, and continuing care services in a manner that honors the unique voices and experiences of all who chose to heal with us. At York, we also encourage the active participation of family members, primary care physicians, employers, clergy, and other allies in the effort to support our patients’ long-term recovery efforts.

Outpatient Care

For those who can benefit from a step-down level of support following the completion of a residential program, or whose needs are not severe enough to require residential care, we offer superior outpatient services at nine treatment centers:

Allentown – Adults can receive traditional outpatient care and can also participate in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) at our Allentown location. Allentown also offers family support groups for loved ones of individuals who are in treatment for or are recovering from addiction.

Erie – Our Erie location features both outpatient care and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults. Treatment options include two hours of care once per week, or three hours per day twice a week, with both morning and evening options available.

Harrisburg – The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Harrisburg provides nine hours of care per week in three daily blocks, while the traditional outpatient program allows adults to participate in up to four hours of care by choosing to attend either one or two two-hour sessions each week.

New Castle – In addition to traditional outpatient and intensive outpatient programming, our New Castle location also offers a weekly women’s group, where adult women can receive therapeutic guidance and support in an atmosphere that is specifically designed to address the unique ways that they have been impacted by addiction.

New Perspectives – Located on the serene campus of our Lebanon residential program, New Perspectives provides from two to nine hours of weekly care to adults who participate in either the traditional outpatient program or our intensive outpatient program.

Pittsburgh – Our Pittsburgh location offers a variety of outpatient treatment options, including a partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and traditional outpatient program (OP), as well as weekly Family Nights and monthly Chemical Offenders Referral and Education (CORE) classes.

Williamsport – Services at our Williamsport location include a traditional outpatient program (OP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and a women’s group. IOP services include nine weekly hours of treatment; OP includes either two or four weekly hours, and the women’s group meets once per week for two hours.

Sober Living Environments

Our two gender-specific halfway houses can provide essential support to as many as 55 adults at any one time:

New Directions – Located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, New Directions of White Deer Run is a 30-bed halfway house where adult men who have completed treatment can learn to live productive sober lives, with an emphasis on establishing independence and making a successful transition back into the workforce.

Renewal Center – Also located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Renewal Center of White Deer Run is a 25-bed halfway house for adult women who can benefit from a sober living environment and continued structured support as they transition out of care and develop the skills that will empower them to live successful and satisfying lives in recovery.
