Addiction Treatment Through HealthChoices
At White Deer Run of York, we are dedicated to providing quality care in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. We want everyone who receives our services to feel comfortable in the decision they are making not only to receive treatment, but also in their decision to participate in rehab at our treatment center. We recognize that making the choice to engage in treatment for a substance abuse problem requires great courage and strength. Yet, we also understand that financial concerns can frequently prevent individuals from seeking and receiving the care that they so desperately need.
The treatment options available at White Deer Run of York are designed to assist men and women in overcoming addictions to drugs and/or alcohol. Also, when individuals are suffering from symptoms of co-occurring mental health disorders in addition to chemical dependency concerns, the programming offered can be tailored to successfully meet those needs as well.
Unfortunately, there are many circumstances in which prospective program participants may be aware of the fact that they could benefit from treatment, but avoid doing so out of concern for the financial obligations that they fear will be required. At White Deer Run of York, it is our goal to eliminate that fear. We are proud to work side-by-side with Pennsylvania’s HealthChoices program, an extension of the Department of Human Service’s Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Through the HealthChoices program, Medical Assistance recipients can receive funding for behavioral healthcare treatment through supports of their choosing.
What is HealthChoices?
Pennsylvania’s HealthChoices program acts with a mission to help individuals find quality medical, mental health, and/or substance abuse services in a manner that will promote the most successful treatment outcomes. Men and women who do not have private insurance coverage, or who depend on public assistance for funding their healthcare needs, can contact White Deer Run of York, and our staff will be happy to help them determine any and all benefits that they can access towards receiving care at our rehab treatment center.
