From detox for individuals who have been incapable of ridding their bodies of dangerous chemicals to limited step-down support for those who are making their final transition out of treatment, the addiction rehab centers within the White Deer Run Treatment Network in Pennsylvania are proud to provide a wide range of treatment options that are designed to meet individuals at their current level of need and empower them to achieve and maintain their treatment and recovery objectives.

Detoxification

Detox is the process of ridding one’s body of the substances that he or she has been abusing. Depending upon the nature and severity of a person’s substance abuse, attempting to accomplish this without professional assistance can be a painful and potentially dangerous experience. At the rehab centers within the White Deer Run Treatment Network that offer a detox program, individuals who have become dependent upon alcohol or other drugs can withdraw from these substances in a medically monitored environment where safety is a top priority and unpleasant symptoms are significantly reduced. Once the individual has completed the detox process, which usually lasts three to five days, he or she can then directly transition into residential rehabilitation.

Residential Rehabilitation

Residential rehab is an intensive treatment experience that features around-the-clock supervision, comprehensive care, and a structured schedule that implements a variety of therapeutic opportunities and activities. Residential rehabilitation at programs within the White Deer Run Treatment Network may include a combination of individual, group, and family therapy, along with experiential therapies, medication management, supervised offsite activities, and other services depending upon the nature of the program and the needs of the individual.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Within the White Deer Run Treatment Network, partial hospitalization rehab programs are designed to be an intensive continuation of residential rehabilitation programming. PHP participants attend therapy sessions six hours a day, four days a week. In addition to group sessions, our PHP schedule also includes two individual therapy sessions each week, as well as two monthly meetings with a psychiatrist when necessary.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

As its name implies, IOP provides a greater degree of care than is available with traditional outpatient treatment, while not requiring an around-the-clock residential commitment. Specifics will vary from location to location, but, in general, IOP participants will attend group therapy sessions at least three days each week, usually for at least three hours per day. They will complete a curriculum that focuses on understanding the disease model of addiction, maintaining recovery, and preventing relapse. Individual therapy may also be offered on an as-needed basis. Most of the rehab centers in the White Deer Run Treatment Network that provide Intensive Outpatient Program services offer morning and evening options so that participants can incorporate their continuing care into their daily schedules.

Outpatient Program (OP)

Individuals who have already completed a residential rehabilitation program but who can benefit from a structured support system as they transition out of care may find the solutions they have been seeking in a traditional outpatient treatment program. Outpatient treatment at rehab centers within the White Deer Run Treatment Network is usually conducted once or twice a week in either the morning or early evening. The timing is scheduled so that individuals who are working, attending school, or meeting other responsibilities can fulfill these obligations while continuing to receive care.
