White Deer Run of Mt. Zion Residential Addiction Rehab Program

At White Deer Run of York at Mt. Zion, we offer premier residential rehabilitation programming for men age 18 and older who are battling substance use disorders and certain co-occurring mental health concerns. We deliver clinically excellent services that help our clients achieve stabilization and create a framework for lasting recovery.

About Our Residential Rehab Program

In our residential rehabilitation program, we provide comprehensive treatment for men who need professional intervention for substance use disorders. Our experienced staff of physicians, counselors, therapists, and other behavioral healthcare experts helps those in our care recover from addictions to a variety of substances, including:

  • Opioids
  • Cocaine
  • Sedatives or anxiolytics
  • Cannabis
  • Hallucinogens
  • Amphetamines
  • Alcohol

This program features several specialized tracks, including detoxification, short-term rehab, and long-term rehab, that allow us to provide focused care for a broad range of client needs. We also offer a co-occurring rehabilitation track for those who are battling mental health concerns along with addictions. Integrated care that addresses co-occurring disorders can help a person who has a dual diagnosis achieve successful treatment outcomes and improve their quality of life.

If a client requires initial stabilization services, they may participate in our detoxification program. This program typically lasts five days, during which we provide medically monitored detox services that can help clients rid their bodies of substances safely and comfortably.

When detoxification is complete, clients can focus on the mental and social aspects of their recovery journey in our rehabilitation program. While this program has an average duration of 18 days, a person’s actual length of stay depends on their needs and treatment goals.

The Care Experience

Residential rehabilitation programs may be a good treatment option for individuals who can benefit from structured care without the 24/7 monitoring of an inpatient program. Live-in care at our 50-bed facility in York, Pennsylvania, can give people an opportunity to step away from the distractions of their daily lives and focus on what’s most important — finding a path to better health.

Our team is dedicated to delivering life-changing services in an environment that fosters respect and compassion for our clients and their families. We provide those in our care with guidance and encouragement while offering focused treatment that is tailored to their needs, strengths, abilities, and preferences.

Therapeutic Modalities

At White Deer Run of York at Mt. Zion, we believe in the effectiveness of individualized care. That’s why we customize each person’s treatment plan to reflect their unique needs and goals. Depending on a client’s situation, their residential rehabilitation programming may include:

  • Medication management services
  • Individual counseling
  • Family therapy
  • Group sessions
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Dialectical behavior therapy
  • Motivational enhancement therapy

Our team understands that an addiction can severely impact many areas of someone’s life. By taking a person-centered approach to care, we can help each client achieve optimal results by supporting their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual recovery.

Aftercare Planning

A person’s time in our residential rehabilitation program is just one step on their lifelong journey to recovery. Whether they are stepping down to a lower level of care or preparing to return to their daily life, we help ensure that each client has a seamless transition by providing them with a detailed aftercare plan.

The discharge planning process begins the moment a client is admitted to our program and involves input from the entire treatment team. Together, we’ll monitor your progress and adjust your aftercare plan as needed along the way so that it continues to align with your goals.

At this level of care, continuing care plans often include partial hospitalization programming, intensive outpatient treatment, alumni services, and other community resources.
